We are Mad About Specs; passionate about eyecare. Welcome to a fresh approach in Optometry and online eyewear. Founded by Ravi and Gaizka.
Every pair of eyes tells a different story. We believe that the right pair of glasses can change your life, not just helping you to see better but giving you the confidence to see the world in a whole new way.
Curious about why you should choose to buy your glasses from us? We think we can offer a service that’s pretty unique. We have three simple statements: Be Seen, Be Bold, Be you.
You’ll never find us hiding behind jargon. We’re committed to de-mystifying eye care, providing honest advice and a transparent way of working. So if you want to ask us a question about your prescription, any aspect of Optometry, just get in touch. We’re ready to help!
High street independent eyecare, online. Mad About Specs was born from the belief that it’s possible to provide the kind of personal, friendly eyecare you’d expect at an independent high street opticians with the convenience and value you’d expect online - meaning you can choose from our wide range of stylish frames knowing that we’ll never try to sell you anything we don’t think is just right for you.
Every order checked by a qualified Optometrist. No two pairs of eyes are the same, but many chain retailers adopt a cookie-cutter approach that can leave you feeling like you’re lost in the crowd. At Mad About Specs we’ll always treat you like the individual you are, with your own eyecare needs and your own eyewear style.
‘Be Seen, Be Bold, Be You’, goes to the core of the motivation for setting up this company. Having worked in clinical practice and hearing difficult stories from young adults, we decided to do something about it. For every sale of glasses, we will donate £1 to charities that provide tools to safeguard children and young adults from abuse. It is about speaking up, speaking out, being heard, and above all: being yourself. Mad About Specs is about helping people express themselves with boldness, colour, and above all, confidence.
